Ecopetrol reports IT gains while its wider AI program still faces data limits
Ecopetrol says using AI in IT operations raised critical-service availability to 99.52% and generated more than US$1.5 million in savings.
Company-reported availability level and savings; starting availability, service population, cost perimeter and savings period are not specified. An adjacent 40% digital self-service resolution rate is separate and is not explicitly attributed to AIOps.
Limits: No all-in cost, cash reconciliation, comparison design or complete net ROI. The US$1.5 million-plus may overlap the existing AI-147 portfolio benefits; do not add them. Neither 160 digital initiatives nor more than 100 operating solutions is a count of AI deployments.
