Saipem installs a predictive-maintenance pilot on one drillship
Saipem says it installed an AI predictive-maintenance system on the Saipem 12000, the first drillship in its fleet to receive it.
No measured downtime reduction, failure forecast quality, intervention count, cost saving or ROI disclosed. One installed pilot is not a fleet deployment.
Limits: The issuer explicitly calls the 12000 project a pilot. Fleet extension and the separate 7000 project remain plans. Human maintenance approval, automatic execution, fallback rules and measured outcomes are undisclosed.
