Integrated Power is already done; AI is a later layer. India target is at least 500 engineers across HSE, digital plant and Integrated Power modeling programs.
Target scope: 40 upstream and 16 refining/chemical sites; 10x asset data points; full deployment end-2027. India center: at least 500 engineers by 2027 across all named programs. No quantified AI outcome.
Deployment target and enabling data foundation; not 56 completed AI deployments. The 500-engineer target spans multiple programs and is not AI-only. No costs, acceptance criteria, or realized return disclosed.
Analyst inference: Large, concrete industrial data foundation and deployment scope; business outcome remains an objective.

TotalEnergies and Cognite announced a three-year deployment of industrial data and AI capabilities across all TotalEnergies-operated upstream assets worldwide, spanning drilling through production.
Management says a signed AspenTech contract will deploy Inmation for real-time collection across 40 upstream and 16 refining/chemical sites; integrated power was already done. Cognite will transform, enrich, store and expose the data. Management aims to multiply asset data points by ten, with full deployment targeted by end-2027; a later AI layer is intended to improve production and availability. At least 500 engineers by 2027 is a critical-mass target for all three programs (digital HSE, digital plant and Integrated Power modelling).
